Crunch...crunch...crash went the ivory fleeced wolf through Owl Forest as it stomped about in fury. It was still chilly,but late winter was slowly passing over into spring. Yet even the cool temprature could not keep the air about this fae from sizzling. It was Aurora,Alphess of Andrathorn and enraged mate of Icefire. Her beloved's brother,Moonnight,had practically chased her out of her own home. All because he didn't want her around to hear whatever he had to say to her partner. Giving another menacing growl,the alabaster vixen had decided to journey into a free land where she could express her anger without hurting anyone. Pulling jowls back in a feirce snarl,she dove for whatever was making noise in a near by brush. The rabbit just slipped out of her grasp,and she was left without lunch.
Heaving a sigh,her body dropped to the earth,exhausted from storming about. Aurora was tired of Icefire's past life pushing her out of his present life,it was really annoying her. Shoving her facade into her mitts,the queen of Andrathorn began to sob. Did she mean nothing to him? Icefire had said he loved her,but had he prooved it yet? Now pouting over not getting to be with her mate,the nymph remembered why she had called Icefire to her when returning to Andrathorn from Forest of Shadows. First off,she had wanted to spend time with him and learn more about his past. Then the other reason was...so they could breed. She had wanted to proove her love to Icefire by carrying his pups,but she found that impossible if they could never get alone time!
As Aurora pondered how she could catch her mate at just the right time without anyone else being nearby to interrupt them,she didn't notice the wolf coming up behind her. |

Soren slipped through the forest and came face to face with Aurora. He jumped back. "Sorry." he murmered.

Aurora sprung to her paws as Soren came into her pressence. The Alphess looked into the loner's eyes,and wandered why he had come. Head tilted to the side,and she stared at her half member with interest. Had icefire sent him? Hope flared in her orbs,and she parted her jowls to ask.

Aurora looked away from Soren,and layed her head on her paws. Sighing deeply,she closed her eyes and burrid her face in her chest. Ears were limp,for the fae felt lonely and sad. What was Icefire doing that kept him away from her? Stupid Moonnight,hogging his brother's attention. Looking back up to the loner brujo,she parted her jowls and began to speak.
"How have you been lately Soren? Haven't seen you around Andrathorn lately,got somebody special that is taking your time away?" |

"I wish...... acctually I'm here for Moonnight." He cringed as if he was afraid of those words. "Um, he told me to tell you that..... that..... Icefire is......is....... Missing." he muttered the last word quietly. "Moonnight found b-b-blood. and smelled Nightdemon..."

"WHAT!?!"
Aurora shouted as she once more shot to her paws,anger and cold hatred causing her face to distort. Top lip was raised,and snarl rippled forth in a menacing song of fury. The queen of Andrathorn stared at Soren as if he were Nightdemon. Stalking up to the masculine,she shoved her face into his own and whispered four words. Her fear of brutes had been forgotten when she confessed her love to Icefire,and it was apparent by the way she spoke and acted. She was ready to slaughter Nightdemon.

Soren decided he wouldn't back down. He pushed himself forward in Aurora's face "How should I know! I'm not Nightdemon you know!"

Aurora snarled back,going forehead to forehead with Soren. Their eyes so close,staring back into the other's. A fight could break out. But this pathetic loner had not the throat the Alphess wanted to tear out. So,she went into explanation of her earlier question.
"Well your a loner,you wander about. Don't you pick up his scent anywhere or perhaps hear that he has passed near by? Come on,if you are Icefire's friend then you should have already started looking for him. So should that idiot brother of his,Moonnight. The whole pack should be looking for him,and aren't you part of the pack? Half the year or not?" |

Soren growled. "Well I could have just not told you! I could have left on a search but no! I came a told Icefire's little Alphess! And just so you know Moonnight IS looking for him! Moonnight's a lot smarter than you think! You just don't like him because Icefire has someone else to spend time with when YOUR not around! And If you haven't noticed I've been living in Andrathorn for the past while I don't no anything! The only wolf who knows stuff about the surounding teritory is Moonnight, and HE'S already searching for Icefire! Also maybe this wouldn't have happened if you'd taken Moonnight seriously when he tried to warn Icefire! But no you just get a angry and write him off! Well now Icefire might die! Moonnight's the only one who tried to do anything about it even with YOU threatning him! He cares about his brother just so you know! He could have not informed you but even though you were flat out evil to him he STILL made sure you get information!" Soren glared at Aurora angrily.

Aurora yelled back at Soren.
"Well if you hate me so much because I wanted to spend time with Icefire then I won't anymore! There,I will do your and Moonnight's bidding and just leave! I am such a nuisence to you all,and you'll hate me so much I will leave. I don't like Moonnight because he interrupted me and Icefire. I love Icefire,and want to bear his pups. But ya'll keep tearing him away from me and I can't have any time to tell him just how much I love him. Everytime I try,his brother does this or his friend needs that. I am not fit to be his little Alphess and I won't anymore! I liked you Soren,you were a good wolf. But now I see you are just like the rest of them. Since I bother everybody so much I just won't look for Icefire or help at all. GOOD_BYE!"
Storming away,the ex-alphess left Soren to go look for his dear friend. |

Soren yelled after the Fae "Just so you know Icefire loves you too! Thats what makes this so bad! Because your giving up on him with out a fight! Your giving up on what you want most in the world because you've had a few problems! Problems! Thats LIFE! Your going to have problems and you know what the rest of us have worked through them and your not! Your giving up! and thats worse than trying and failing! At least Moonnight see's that! He's had it as hard as you! You don't know his story! You don't know mine! But you assume that your life is harder than everyone elses! Its not!" Soren turned and said "Icefire wouldn't have given up on you! he put you together when you were broken and as thank your shattering him!"

Aurora turned around and shouted back.
"I don't care about your story! I don't care about Moonnight's past! All I want is to be with Icefire,but everytime I do something happens. Don't you get it Soren? You all are causing my problems! Everytime I try to get closer to Icefire,his past pushes me farther away. I have gone through enough with him,and it is clear you and everyone else doesn't want me around. Now,if you will excuse,I have to go find the brute that took my mate and kill him. But before that,I shall ask were Icefire is. Good day!" |
