Ruebura stalked through the tall grasses, her glistening white pelt completely covered by the stalks. She knew it was silly and worthless to be trying to catch a deer by her lonesome, especially if she were to come across a group of them. Ah well, at least she could do as she pleased in this meadow.
A faun color peered out from behind the grass, and the frost fae recognized the scent of a young fawn. It could be risky to try to get it, for adults could be anywhere. The ivory feminine decided to go for it.
Creeping closer on low legs, she neared the fawn. It's dappled coat camouflaged it in the sunlit grass, but Ruebura could determine its exact position by scent. Finally she was close enough, and she leaped. Young deer was breathless in only a few moments.
What luck, this catch was. It wasn't too large, yet it wasn't too small, and it had been rather easy to kill. The frost fae settled in for a meal of venison.

Caught by surprise, Ruebura swiveled around, only to find Moonnight once again.
"Oh, hello Moonnight. Yes, I wouldn't mind some help."
Standing up, the ivory fae licked her red-stained chops clean, laughing,
"Oh, and I'm sure you could have managed something as easy as that."

"Sure. More challenging, but more fun."

The fae bounded towards Moonnight, glad to have something to occupy her troubled mind. Lifting her snout to the air, she sang,
"Where shall' we look?"

The fae began walking, not knowing where she was going. It wasn't too long before another scent was noticed drifting through the grasses, the scent of deer.

Fae motioned toward the scent, asking the brute if he were to go first, or her. By the looks of it, there were only a few, two or three to be exact. Smell of it was overwhelming, they were close...

He gave her a smile and nodded her forward. His eyes showed a flash of emotion though barely enough to see and he everted his eyes slipping forward towards the deer.

There were two, this attempt shouldn't be too difficult. And completely unsuspecting, stupid deer. With a quick glance at Moonnight, Ruebura stalked closer, almost upon them. She waved her tail for the brute to take one, and for her to take the other. They would have to be precise, one attack too fast could set off the other. She waited for him to take her command.

Moonnight nodded. he slipped as close as he dared to the one on the left. He smiled at Ruebura. Then got in position.

Ruebura also slipped into position, and with a flick of her tail to signal the time, she leaped. She knocked the helpless deer to the ground, but he quickly stood once more. Before he could escape, the fae sank her canines into it's neck, killing it immediately. The deer lay on the ground, a last spasm before it lay still.

After Moonnight had killed his deer he turned to see Ruebura had done the same.

Fae suddenly realized how much she was eager to eat, so with only a flicker of sight to Moonnight, Ruebura began to devour the deer. She hadn't been eating often, so the meals she had had today were important.

Moonnight began to eat slowly savoring each bite. After only a short time he finished and sat back.
