Wind lay in the den, awaiting the birth of her pups, knowing that Myst couldn't be far behind her. Her breathing became more heavy, and she looked around the den, her leg began shaking with fear andexpectation, as she waited. seconds seemed like hours, and minutes like days, as she waited for him to arrive. The warmth of the den soothed her just a bit, and she relaxed just a bit.
She began thinking back on the day they had first met. she had been so timid, and so shy, and now, here she was about to give birth to the pups of an aplha. the children of a leader. Her thoughts drifted back to their first comversation. The first words she had ever said to him...
"My name is Wind, and I wish to be granted exceptance into your pack."
"Of Course Wind! Welcome to Eternal Sunshine!"
Really!? It's an honor! i'm completely at your service!"
She had been so excited at the time, the mere thought of a home filling her heart to the brim, and now, she had not just a home, but a mate, and soon, a family.
She thought of all the time they had spent together. The adventures, and the romantic nights with just the two of them. She sighed, as she turned to the mouth of the den, waiting for him to appear.

Myst ran through the forest searching for the den that held Wind and the yet unborn pups. He raced along with his nose to the wind. He knew he was close. Soon, he saw the mouth of a cave yawning before him. He slowed to a steady gait and walked in. "Wind?" he called. He didn't want to startle her. It might just put her in more pain. He walked a little further into the den and let his eyes adjust. He saw her and rushed over. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Wind nodded slightly, a peaceful smile crossed her face in an attempt to let him know that she was allright. She looked up to him, feeling quite helpless really, but she knew he understood. She shifted a bit in the warm earth, and her tail wagged just slightly, but not much, for the pain was beggining to come. She winced abit, and a meek, silent whine came from her throat, it wasn't that noticable, but it was audible, considering Myst and herself where the only two creatures in the den at the time. She looked back up at him, and gavea noticably fake smile, trying to make him think she wasn't in any pain. But in the end, she knew it would be all worth while, worth the pain, she thought fondly of her own family, young ones to raise and a loving mate to stand beside until the ending of her days.

Myst watched her sadly. He hated to see her in any kind of pain. He forced a smile back at her. Slowly, he walked over to her. "Is it about time?" he asked quietly. He nuzzled her very gently and licked her nose.

Wind looked at Myst, her eyes showed that she was happy, and that she could take the pain."There's no need to worry for me, Myst." she said. She then curled over slightly again, for they were coming, it was finally time. The time htat had seemed to pass so slowly before, now went by in an instant, and soon, the pain was all over, just as quickly as it had begun. Wind looked down fondly at the two young creatures nestled safely near her warm, silver fur. She gave a smile to Myst, her eyes filled with joy and love. "what shall we name them?" she asked softly, for they were begining to fall asleep.

Myst watched with excitement. When the pups had snuggled close to their mother, he walked over to Wind and licked her face. "Their beautiful!" he declared. "You name the girl and I'll name the boy," he licked her again and the plopped down next to the pups. The feelings inside him were undescrible. It was almost overwhelming to think that he now had a family!

O.o I'm SO SO SO sorry about not repsonding. It wasn;t my fault...ok...yeah it was, but i'm replying RIGHT NOW)
wind looked up fondly at Myst, then back down to the small, sleeping bundles next to her. "They're beautiful" she said, happily, her tail wagging with joy. "Ah, and now to name them!" she said enthusiasctically. "What shall you name hte little boy, Myst?" she asked, while trying to think of a suitable name for the girl.

Myst sat on his haunches and gazed at the little pup. "Hmm," he thought out loud, "what do I wish to name you?" He sat for a long time, deep in consideration. The name had to be perfect. "Faunus," he said at last, "after my father." He licked the pup gently then looked up at Wind. "Do you like that name?"

Wind smiled and looked at the pup fondly. "A wonderful name." she siad. She licked the pup and nuzzled it's head gently. "Faunus.." she whispered. She then looked to the un-named pup, squeaking, and crawling aorund. "I will name her Aerith." she said gently. "is that well with you, Myst?" she asked.

Myst smiled at Wind. "That is beautiful my dear," he whispered. He looked at the two pups now suckling on their mother. "Faunus and Aerith," he spoked to himself. He still couldn't believe he now had two pups of his own. This meant he had a family. He nuzzled Wind again. His joy was indescribable. It was the most amazing feeling he had ever felt.

Wind smiled and licked his nose as he nuzzled her. "I couldn't ask for a better life." she siad. "I love you." she said gently, abd licked the small pups fur. 'They are beautiful.' she thought as she sighed in contenment. She then thought of how she wished her parents couldd see them, but htat would have to wait, if it ever happened at all.

Eternity ran into the tera of Myst and Wind, and stopped as smelled the scent of newborn pups. She entered the cave gently and wuietly. "Excuse me, my Lord, Mt lady." she said, with a bow. "I have brought someone who wishes to join Eternal Sunshine." she said quietly, so not to scare the pups.

Devoid padded into the area with soft footfalls. He had heard the pups, and didn't want to disturb them in any way. His eyes searched around the area, and he lowered his tail. He bowed his head and averted his eyes to show the alpha and the alphess he was of no threat. Devoid stopped several meters before the alpha, the alphess, and the pups.

Wind looked up to Eternity, one of her pack members, and gave a nod. "It is fine that you have come, Eternity." she said, the turned her attention to Devoid with a smile. "It would be an honor to have you in the pack, Devoid." she said with a nod of respect, her eyes closed with respect.

Wind smiled, nodded and then giggled. "I am glad you feel welcome here, Devoid, but perhaps a bit quieter?" she said kindly. She wasn't at all angry, but didn't want Devoid to wake the pups. "Eternity, my sister." she said with a nod to the fae. "Would you show our new member around please?" she asked.

It was had been quite a while since this day. Myst has mysteriously dissapeared, breaking wind to her soul, but she'd had to perservere, for the good of hte pack,and the good of her pups. Her two children grew quickly, and are now old enough to wlak and talk. wind is now the leader of Eternal snowfall, and she will be holding a pack meeting.
