Horizon slipped through the bushes, her slender black body gliding soundlessly across the earth. Her ears perked, as a twig snapped somewhere behind her. She had wondered if any packs roamed this land, and it seemed as if there might. She hoped they would accept her into their pack, where she could find a forever home. As she thought of what could happed, she suddenly remembered the twig. She glanced behind her. There was nothing. She sighed. She must have imagined it. Maybe there wasn't any other wolves here. Maybe she would never find a home... |

Solar Racer slipped soundlessly about Horizon,haunting the intruder's every move. A twig snapped beneath his paw,and silently he dove intot the bushes for cover. Watching the loner as she turned around,he would tell that she had never known he was there. Like a breath of wind,the brujo was soon walking right beside the raven cloaked femmora. Except,she could not see him. For he hid within the brush of the forest,and his scent was all about so no one could tell if he was behind you anyways. As Horizon haulted,fawn coins of the masculine examined her from afar. Finally deciding she didn't want any trouble,he approached the dark hued vagabond.
The Alphen looked ghostly,an alabaster form gliding from the forest darkness to greet the newest arrival. His pelt was set into a shining effect almost as the moon beams fell upon his bodice. The breeze ruffled ever hair on him,and made the dancing fur look like ivory flames. A spirit leading a living pack,and introducing himself to the living czaress. Jowls parted,letting voice wrap the atmosphere in it's mysterious tunes. Still stalking about her like a predator ready to pounce on it's prey,Solar Racer ended his speech with a gentle growl.
"Welcome M'Lady,to the land Forest of Shadows. I be dubbed Solar Racer,Alphen of the kingdom you trod upon. Is there a reason you enter my realm at such a late hour? A purpose you have risen my sleeping soul from slumber to greet you?" |

Horizon stared at the other wolf in awe for a moment, wondering if this was a dream. She finally decided it couldn't be a dream. This had to be real. So, she replied, trying not to stammer or sound scared.
"I have come this this land to find a home. A home where I can live and know true friendship for once in my short life. I have some to ask you, If I may join your pack."
She then kneeled on the ground, laying her ears back flat against her skull, and closing her eyes. Her heart pounded as she waited for Solar Racer to reply. |

The breeze died done,and clouds drifted over the moon so that all of the special effecs were lost. Solar Racer was just a regular Alphen again,and yet his pride was still held firmly. Crown towered over Horizon's as she asked acceptance into his pack,and kneeled respectfully before him. Occulis studied the younger wolf,wondering if she truly meant such high loyalty to him. Pondering the thought of yet another member to his pack,the brujo wondered if he should be taking so many loners as his own. Giving a deep sigh to signal he had made a descion,the commander stepped up to Horizon's side and bent his mug to gentle nudge each shoulder. After that,he began to speak as his crania took it's normal postion at it's high height
"Then welcome,Horizon,to the pack of Forest of Shadows. You will start out as a regular member,and currently I am your only superiour. You will hunt and guard the borders of the land,and I hope you meet my other three members soon. You are the last I will allow into my pack for a long time,so if any loners come and I have not greeted them already,then chase them out. I want no more pack members for now. If you have any questions,ask them now M'Lady."
High ranking czar's speech was over,and the acceptence of the midnight stained femme was over. She now belonged to Forest of Shadows,and was expected to be loyal to her Alphen and fellow members. Jade pools of the ivory warrior examined her once more,seeking out any indication of scars from past battles or something that should tell him she was evil. But he found nothing,and that satisfied him very much. |

Horizon rose from her kneel, and looked up at Solar Racer.
"Thank you, Solar Racer. I am honored to be part of your pack. I will always be a loyal member of Forest Of Shadows, and I will try my best to please you. And now, what shall I do as my first task?"

Solar Racer pondered her question,having so many ideas. But his mind favored one,and so he parted jowls and spoke it. After that,it was a bow of the head and the ghostly figure was gone. He disappeared into the shadows of his forest,and crept away slowly. The task was set,once Horizon was done then she could seek out her Alphen and ask for another one or freely explore the kingdom. Twas her choice,and her fate lay within her paws now.
"Saquine,one of my other members,awaits within a glade not far from here. Go to her,and meet one of your fellow pack members. That is all for now Lady Horizon,and good bye."
