Alina floated through Forest of Shadows territory, scenting the others that aboded here, but not caring if she was discovered or not. She was in one of her depressing moods, only wandering through the forest because standing still made it worse. While she treaded along the forest floor, Alina decided that she was actually looking for something to cheer her up. Maybe some excitement would help her to get her mind off of troublesome thoughts. But if she were found, would a light or dark greet Alina? The thoughts of being found in a darks home didn't help her, but her moment of depression was ebbing away. She sat for a moment, letting her mind untighten, her fright also seeping into nothingness. This place wasn't so bad, and she didn't scent a dark. Perhaps it was only her mind playing tricks on her again.

A ghost like creature came from the shadows, his orbs seething with anger. The stench of a dark reeked upon his domain, for an enemy had found their way passed his guards. The atmosphere around the brujo seemed to boil, and every step it took the life around him should have died. There was a hatred for the cursed in every light wolf, but Solar Racer was different. He hated those scumbags with all the life in him and every breat he took was to kill the demons. Just as he spotted the vix, something very vile worked up within him. The forgotten scar across his left eye seemed to stand out more now, showing a time when he had been forced to act like a dark to help his pack and beloved.
The sigh of wind seemed deathly, like one a hunting beast should make before it take it's prey. Not a sound was made as the masculine slipped from the shadows, the dark blanket pulled from his bodice. Occulis were narrowed to slits, and the confused banshee just seemed to stay. Solar crouched down, taking slow and threatening steps. When he finally reached a comfortable place his top lip curled as he tightened his muscles. Every second that passed, the Alphen was getting ready to pounce upon Alina. Finally, deep and throaty voice filled the tense atmosphere. His voice was like a the low rumble of thunder as it drew ever closer.
"What are you doing here, dark? Your kind isn't welcome upon my realm,so leave before you get hurt."

Sensing the tention emitting from Solar Racer, Alina tried desperately to make her hackles stay down. Her anger was rising at this misunderstanding, along with the fur along her spine. Why in the world would this brute mistake her for a dark? The feminine noticed the faint stench of them among her, but where did it come from? Had she trod on their territory while she was walking in her state of emptiness? Often she would pass without even noticing. No wonder Solar Racer was acting so aggresive toward herself. The faint reek of dark echoed around her. Realizing his mistake, she let her fur lie flat, and she spoke into the atmosphere. "I am sorry, but I be not a dark. Perhaps I stink of one, but there can be many reasons for that matter. If you wish to know my calling, I am Alina, and I be nothing but a wondering light."

Solar Racer watched as the hackles of the demoness rose, sticking out like spikes on a hedgehog. Then, she took a deep whiff of her own scent and let her fur lie flat. The Alphen danced upon his paws, ready for the attack that was sure to come. She was just faking a quit on him,she was just a....LIGHT!?! The words that slipped from Alina's mug filled the masculine with shock and surprise at his mistake. She had wandered through dark territory and there for gotten their scent upon her. Helplessly standing before the vix like a dumb fool,he bowed gracefully then came up slowly. His eyes avoided her own, sorrowful that he had been so rude and cruel to one of his own alliance. How could he have been so ignorant? Shaking his crown in dismay, the quiet voice of the czar slipped into the uncomfortable atmosphere. The tenseness now was not from anger, but from embrassment.
"I am so sorry Lady Alina,I had no idea. I am Solar Racer,Alphen of this realm. Forest of Shadows it be dubbed, and ignorant I be cursed. I have a deep hatred of darks, and even the thought of one passing by my land makes me want to kill. You are granted passage through here, and I promise none of my pack members will stop you. Again,I am so sorry that I made that mistake. Please forgive my stupidity. If you wish shelter and food for the night, then it will be given. Just ask."

Alina felt herself go calm as the static between her and Solar Racer morphed from hatrid to embarressment. The frost veiled Wolphess noticed he meant no harm, he was only cursing himself for his stupidity. Glad that she had escaped an attack, she replied in a rather relieved tone, "I do forgive you for your mistake, and I must tell you that I do not take offense to it. If even a wiff of dark sets you off, than I am not surprised that you were suspicious." She bowed her peak to the Alphen, making sure that he was noted of his supuriority to herself. "And if you do not mind, I was sort of searching for a place to rest the night."

As Alina forgave him then bowed,Solar Racer once more pulled his stance into Alphen rank. Crown was held high as the ivory fleeced vix asked for a place to stay the night. Nodding,he had guessed she would ask something like that. Perking auds,he parted jowls and let his song fill the atmosphere.
"My home,is your home Alina. Stay as long as you need, and you may go hunting if you get hungry. Would you like me to escort you to a rather fine den I know of,or would you rather explore on your own?"
After he asked his question, the porcelien knight stood up from his sitting postion. He was ready to escort the visitor to a fine den he had made himself in the roots of a large willow. It was den he often used himself, but there were others that he enjoyed to spend his time in. Thinking of the several other dens he shared with his pack,he hardly noticed when Alina began to speak once more.

Perked satellites absorbed Solar Racer's words, and Alina decided that she would gladly be lead to one of the Alphen's resting places. She had no notion to explore, the frost cloaked beaut was getting rather tired. Jowls parted to reveal ivory daggers, and Alina had to quickly turn away in a great yawn. "Being very drowsy, I would be happiest if you could lead me to this den you are speaking of." Bowing her mug respectfully she added, "And I thank you, Alphen of Forest of Shadows, for letting me rest here."

Solar Racer nodded, accepting her gratitude as he lept into the forest. Ghost like figured moved with great speed and silence, for he would be right in front of you and then you blink and he is all the way ahead. Nares flared as the brujo led his visitor to the den by scent, even though his sight alone could have taken them there. Once haulting before the entrance, the ivory masculine sat upon his haunches and held his crown high. It almost looked like he was a doorman, ready to welcome a very wealthy wolfess back to her home.
The oak was large, about as wide as two wolves standing butt to butt. The roots where the den was made were coming out of the earth, little loop holes that would be great for pups to play on. Solar Racer had made it were the den was about a yard under the roots, but the tunnel to get down there was rather finely dug. Once you got within the den,it was plan to see that three full grown canines could move around with ease. But if you had to cram it,then six could fit snuggly within. Yet never had more than one wolf used it,so the theory of the Alphen was never prooven true.
