A shadowed figure stalked through the trees, their thick foliage covering up any possible places where sunlight could filter through.
Char left the darkness of the woods and stepped out onto the sand, paws sinking into the tiny shards of crystil. Ebon nose to the air, the brute wondered who could belong in such a place like this, who could abode in this land of night black sand. Sea water crashed threateningly along the border of the shore, taking the coal colors with it, and then washing them back onto the beach. Everything here seemed black, so that the light colors of Char's coat stood out. He had always wished for a black pelt, for the color of night shook more fearlessly than the normal colors of a wolf. But here it didn't matter the shades of his fur, Char liked this territory. No matter who lived here, he was almost certain that he wanted to join this pack. Nares flared out in the wind again, picking up the scent of a fae. The graphite coated Wolphen lifted his ivory mug to the clouded sky, and released his song. His howl called the Alphess of Cryptic Cove to himself, and it petrified any peaceloving creatures around him. After his music had finished, Char layed his rump on the sand, water splashing against his paws.

ooc: Sorry, I wasn't sure if we're allowed to be in two places at once. I'm going to post anyway, since Shadaraou isn't replying.
ic: The black figure gazed at the newcomer, red eyes narrowed slightly as she listened to his song end. Her tail swished gently behind her. She huffed, the sound being louder than normal, for no animal made a sound.
She stepped out into the clearing. Her head high, tail high, she approached the brute with a sure step, and a suspicious and dangerous look in her blue eyes. She stopped a few feet before him, sitting down on her haunches, scrutinizing him for a few seconds before staring into his eyes. "You called?" she growled, her voice quiet, yet endearing.

OOC: Oh okay. You are allowed to be in more than one places at once.

Harks swiveled to catch the noise that came from the Wolphess as she stepped into view. He faced her way, standing boldly, tail held straight out. Char inhaled her scent, so this was the Alphess. "I did call."

Her tail swished behind her. He was one who knew what he was doing. Good. "Well? Did you wish to join? Or just wandering?" she replied, voice a little more welcome, though not much.

The graphite stained Wolphen nodded his maw as an answer, as well as a slight submission. Then he rose, and gave his answer as a verbal one. "I do."

She gazed at him for a moment before nodding. "Very well, then. You are accepted into Criptic Cove," she replied, standing up on all fours.

The ebon brute nodded his thanks, and didn't feel like waiting for an invitation to do as he pleased. With her acception, he turned and waded into the ocean so that the swirling black waters were up to his ankles. He headed off to explore the land of Cryptic Cove.

The black and red fae watched the brute as he trotted through the waters. Her keen, stern gaze watched him until he was out of her sight. Satisfied, she turned and trotted off, to wait for another to call her. [/center]
