A dark form could be seen on the fringe of the forest. Blue eyes scanned the cove, tail flicked. Walking forward on silent paws, the black fae seemed to blend perfectly with the black sand underneath her. Eyes narrowed, she sniffed the air. Nothing. A grin played upon her maw as she took a few more steps forward. She gazed at the beach, watched the waves carry the sand into the ocean. She raised her head to the sky. Her maw parted, a howl issued forth. Her voice, dangerous yet cunning, traveled with the wind in every direction, bring with it the message that this was now a pack, claimed by the dark fae Kussi. Her howl lasted for a while, even as she lowered her head. The alphess huffed and listened to her howl slowly die. Satisfied, she sauntered off to create the boarders of her pack.
