Frost feminine trod silently along the grass, a gentle mist spraying about her fur. Midnight black eyes held the beauty of the waterfalls as they were passed, only given a single glance. Ruebura had come here to think. There was only one thing on her mind, and that was her ivory Alphen. Without knowing it, he had stolen Ruebura's heart. She had only recently figured it out herself. But where was Icefire at this moment, he was comforting Aurora. Ruebura didn't hate Aurora, but she barely new the other fae. A sigh escaped the snow caped wolf, heavy with sorrow. She wanted to become Icefire's Alphess, but now it seemed that Aurora would. But who had she fallen in love with, Icefire, or his scar-faced brother Nightdemon?

Moonnight stepped out of the bushes to look at the waterfalls. He was a GIANT black wolf who had a twinkling smile on his face. He was about to get closer when his bright eyes fell upon a fae. Andrathorn he thought at once. Her eyes were filled with sadness and he moved forward silently. "M'lady?" he asked questioningly. He would never join a pack himself but he didn't mind speaking to pack members. He thought for a moment. His speech when first aproaching someone was always formal and elegant. It was his own special form of respect. "Why may I ask do tears fall like petals from a broken rose?"

Ruebura stayed where she was, but her head turned as she greeted the ebony loner. "Hello." She spoke informally, not caring about first impressions. The ivory fae didn't know if she should trust this great brute, but she decided to give him the information he had asked for. Perhaps if the black shadow chose his words carefully, he could get more out of Ruebura. "I am upset, because I felt something toward another, but they do not feel it toward me." +++

Moonnight gave her a sad smile. "The curse of a broken heart may come when one seeks a blessing." He looked at her for a while more. "Icefire would never mean to hurt you. Though Nightdemon would. Icefire and his 2 brothers are very strange. Though Icefire and Nightdemon look alike the third brother who looks nothing like either of them is the same and different in his way."

"I see, and I suppose I know." The frost feminine turned away, watching the great waterfall. Then she turned back to the black brute, a quizzical look, and slight smile, across her face. "You seem so knowledgeable, so sure of yourself." Trying not to seem rude, Ruebura avoided asking direct questions.

Moonnight smiled. "For me there is no time to be uncertian. AND on this praticular subject I know far more than most."

Ruebura nodded, her smile still hung across her mug. Ivory fae turned back to watch the misty spray reaching toward the two. Without looking back at Moonnight, she began to speak. "Thank you, for speaking to me. Though I do not know you, you have made me feel much calmer. You speak in certainty, and I find that comforting." +++

Moonnight bowed with a flourish, then seemed to regret it. "Sorry. I'm afraid that I got that little habbit from Icefire."

Ruebura watched Moonnight's familiar gesture with careful eyes. Her curiosity was too much for her. "Icefire?"

"Oh I'm Icefire's brother. I thought you would have guessed by now. We were great friends but I prefered to live without a pack."

Bowing her head, the feminine whispered, "I have guessed. I was just not certain of myself." She looked back at the ebon brute, blinking her equally coal-black eyes.

Moonnight nodded. "My brother is good. He won't ever hurt any light. At least not on purpose. I love my brother but I would rather be free. Though I must admit I tend to be a bit reckless." He shrugged. "Well why shouldn't I be. Really I have nothing to lose. At least nothing that can't look after itself."

The frost covered feminine continued to watch the magnificent waterfall, listening. She didn't speak.

He smiled. "But I never stay put, Yes I guess thats our biggest difference. He is perfectly happy to settle down. Not me. I want to see it all. The mountains the oceans. The hot plains. The snowy arctic. Yes..."

The frost covered fae smiled once more, beginning to speak in a light, almost dream-like tone. "I, too, was once like you. The world seemed so large, and I wanted to see it all. Eventually, I became like my Alphen, Icefire, your brother. I would rather stay where I'm put." +++

"Yes. He does seem to do that to people. For some reason he could never get me to settle down. They call me wanderer."

Ruebura couldn't resist another question. "I never did learn your name." Still grinning, the ivory fae spoke again, "Or is it Wanderer?"
